Overview / Shopping

The little sidekick for the store

Not a grocery planner, just the list you actually need, living next to your food diary. Tell the chat what to put on it and check things off at the shelf.

What you can do here

  • Reusable templates: keep a standard weekly list, copy it for each shop.
  • Fill from chat: tell it to put oats and quark on the list, and they are there.
  • One step from any recipe: its ingredients become a list.
  • Check items off in the store, uncheck-all resets for next time.
  • Multiple lists in parallel: supermarket, drugstore, bulk order.
  • Items can carry a short note (brand, store, size).
  • Archive finished lists instead of deleting them; restore anytime from the archive.
Like everything in KIkal, this works three ways: in the app, via the in-app AI chat, or via MCP from Claude and other AI assistants.

Why a tracker has a shopping list at all

Because the products you buy are the products you log. The list speaks the same language as your product catalog, so planning the shop and tracking the food stay one system instead of two apps.

Your next shop, already listed.
